NOTE: THIS POST IS ABOUT THE EVENTS THAT HAPPENED BEFORE THE LATEST POST.

So the party's mission is to go to the lab, pretty much ignore the undead and find the animated weapons that power the undead and most importantly, find's Alechem's essence. The group is divided into two sub-groups. Group A comprised of Frank, Crummy, Guy and Richard while Group B consists of Rhombur, Cierra and two anonymous skulkers. They are all given instructions to try and reach the lab in 2 days (we made it in 4. we couldn't meet their high demands). There were 3 routes out of the lab, the most logical routes being the south-east and north tunnel. In the south-east tunnel, there is a switch that will open the door in the north tunnel. The north tunnel goes down to the last level of the lab where they keep their civillians or POWs. Apparently this is where Jesse's mother and brother is being kept and the group is to go further down that tunnel to see what is powering the undead.

Introducing a few of the army captains:
Giullimaire De'Prairee - In charge of heavy cavalry
Reneon Dupree (SMACKDOWWWWWN!!) - In charge of light cavalry
Jacobs Stirov - Leader of the reavers (say that ten times fast)
Dragan Gothmore - Leader of Equites (Saduca cavalry)

The army also consisted of: 2 sentries[centuries] of Saduca, 1 mandible[maniple] of heavy cavalry, 2 sentries[centuries] of archer (of this 1 sentry are marksmen), 1 score of turmatocs[taumaturges] (imperial wizards) and 2 scores of gnomish medics.

SO...while the battle outside ensues, the group heads down the north tunnel. Crummy springs a trap and gets burnt but this is not the worst or last trap to be sprung, oh no, plenty of traps were sprung along the way by various group members (but mostly Crummy). Halfway there, they come across a rust monster and 2 mephits (1 earth, 1 fire) which they eventually defeat. However, their small victory is short-lived as the next room sucks all of them, thus slamming them into the wall with blunt spikes. By some stroke of misfortune (how lucky), the first one to hit the spikes is Guy followed by everyone else. After chugging down some healing potions, the motley crew reach the next room which proves to be very mysterious. The room is bare save for tiles all over. Although the supposed trap wires were found, Crummy still killed Frank by taking a starburst slab and inserting it into a starburst-shaped hole in the ground. Frank is now kobe beef. Not one to rest, the group carries on until they reach the last door. Richard sends a message to Rhombur, relating the whole incident. Rhombur expresses his sadness and pulls the lever.

Beyond the door lay Jesse's mother bleeding with her wrinkly body being supported by Jesse's brother who lay kneeling. He mutters the words "not supposed to happen" and kills himself with some killsafe mechanism in his mouth. Crummy spots a halfling worker (MUM???) that apparently betrayed Jesse's brother and mum and ran away after having done so. Suddenly, the pendant on Jesse's mum's necklace glows brightly and Alechem's "body" darts towards it. the pendant breaks and Alechem is now Alechem. He goes a little mad and stabs Jesse's mum repeatedly even though she's already dead. After calming down, Alechem reports to the group about how the Richesian government is behind this whole episode. They're trying to gain political power through magic. He also says that Otis is Jesse's brother's (Ranshaw) childhood friend and that they had been planning this for a while. There is also more than one facility similar to this one. One sucks magical creatures powers and life forces while another one harvests souls.
